Trees - General
Reported Thursday, 29 January 2026 at 11:51 am, Richmond Hill Walk, Canterbury, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
It is so incredibly dark the south side of this single light that I am walking in complete darkness and can’t see if there is anything I might trip over. To be honest I have asked several times for these to be trimmed and this has been ignored. Visibility is great the north side of the light thank you. These trees are on a private property but overhang a busy public walkway . It should not be up to the public to advise a private property to trim their trees over hanging a council owned walkway
