Reported Sunday, 8 February 2026 at 4:23 pm, 60 Arlington St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Footpath is cracking up severely due to tree roots and lifting foot path, camming trip hazards and moisture to get under the asphalt asphalt is breaking away from the side of the foot path, and also the guttering beside the foot path is lifting and does not flow to the street drain. This is becoming a bigger problem. Someone will eventually trip over in need of new curbing channel and footpath in the area urban channel has got a lot of large cracks and the tree roots are pushing it up
