Trees - General
Reported Monday, 9 February 2026 at 6:53 pm, 16 Te Whariki Street, Marshland, Christchurch 8083, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The tree on the berm badly needs a good prune. It is way too large and has destroyed the footpath for the second time in less than two years. This type of tree should never have been planted here...they have caused so much damage to the footpath. I would like my concern noted as once they start destroying our drains etc who is going to collect the bill ? Wasteful spending with repairs when the problem is only going to increase !
