Litter
Reported Tuesday, 10 February 2026 at 9:10 pm, 56–64 Marine Pde, Canterbury, Christchurch 8083, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Marine Parade sand dunes are being turned into a public toilet by freedom campers. This is both disgusting and a health issue. There are no toilet facilities or bins up the north end of Marine Parade (where the campers are now they can’t access the bays by the Domain). Picture are a few seen between Effingham St and Cygnet St. Van camping be banned here or something else done??
