The reporter’s words
This tree keeps growing and ripping up the footpath outside our house it also makes it impossible to mow. The roots protrude right out of the ground. I think it has also undermined my fence which is on a lean. The footpath has been repaired a number of times but no one seems to want to fix the actual problem and cut the root that is causing the ruptures. The last time the path was fixed the guy said they weren’t allowed to cut the root. Please cut the root.
