I am writing to report an issue with a cabbage tree located near my property boundary that appears to be causing damage to my fence. The tree’s roots and growth are pushing against the fence, and the damage has become progressively worse. I understand this tree may be council-owned or located on council land, and I would like to ask: • Is the council responsible for the maintenance of this tree?• Can the council inspect the site and advise on possible repairs or remedial action.
