Pavement - Damaged
Reported Friday, 20 February 2026 at 3:57 pm, 29 Lavandula Crescent, Burnside, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The footpath in front of homes at 27, 29, 30 and 32 Lavandula Crescent is now approximately 45 years old. Over time there has been the odd repair completed using a black asphalt rather than the origional reddish colour. It is very much a patchwork footpath. The existing asphalt is breaking down and crumbling to the stage of being a trip hazard. The whole length of footpath in Lavandula Crescent requires a total replacement given the age and state of it.
