Water Pollution - Sediment
Reported Monday, 23 February 2026 at 4:45 pm, 151 Shalamar Drive, Canterbury Region 8022, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
River still very silty after storms, suspected that ongoing construction up river is contributing to this. This is likely due to insufficient measures to prevent dirt from ground works going into the storm drain. River that runs through Worsley Reserve seems to have too much wilt, this has been ongoing for a long time as there is no vegetation growing in the river along this part.
