Trees - General
Reported Sunday, 8 March 2026 at 10:01 am, 8 Platinum Drive, Wigram, Christchurch 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
A street tree opposite 6 Platinum Drive, at the corner of Platinum Drive and Dow Square, died last year and was removed by council staff. However, it has not yet been replaced. The empty space now looks untidy and affects the appearance of the street. Street trees add value to the neighbourhood and improve the streetscape. Could the council please arrange to plant a replacement tree at this location at the earliest convenience
