Pavement - General
Reported Sunday, 8 March 2026 at 1:08 pm, 423 Sparks Road, Halswell, Christchurch 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Please explain the purpose of this footpath, which ends without any pedestrian connections. There is no link or bridge to the adjoining subdivision, leaving pedestrians to walk on the road to access it. This creates an unnecessary safety risk and appears to be incomplete infrastructure. I request that Council take action to connect this footpath to the adjoining subdivision and complete the missing pedestrian link along the road side.
