Park - General Request
Reported Wednesday, 11 March 2026 at 12:07 pm, 212A Riverlaw Terrace, St Martins, Christchurch 8022, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
A resident has permanently boarded up the entrance to the footbridge at the end of King Edward Reserve and the footbridge leading onto the floodplain at the end of Riverlaw Terace. This is a public walkway and while it is often unusable after heavy rain and king tides it is currently dry. Could the council please remove the boards and add the resident to cease and desist. This area is enjoyed and loved by many. Thank you.
