Road Blockage
Reported Wednesday, 18 March 2026 at 8:13 pm, 91 Dyers Pass Rd, Canterbury, Christchurch 8022, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This traffic management on Dyers Pass seems unnecessary. These traffic lights have reduced the traffic to one way 24 hours a day for the past couple of days, but whenever I have driven past after hours there is no work happening in the closed lane (which seems completely untouched so far) and no reason to be closing a lane overnight. It feels like lazy traffic management. Could you please follow up and check that the traffic management plan is for for purpose and being implemented appropriately.
