Pavement - General
Reported Monday, 23 March 2026 at 2:25 pm, 4 Dunn St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The design of the New Roadside upgrades along Selwyn Street is quite dangerous. The new curb on the north side of Dunn Street is designed in a way that it blocks people from crossing the road and as a consequence it moves pedestrians around to the north where there is no lowering of the curb and the children are having to cross the road running out behind the parked cars. No one is using the crossing on the south side of Dunn Street as it would involve crossing two roads rather than one
