The reporter’s words

for over two weeks the workers moving a hose on Berry St have been blocking off Berry St parking with cones while moving s house. the truck to move it sat on the footpath/road for two days, blocking the footpath and a section of road (two weeks ago). They remove the cones in the day so they can park on the street, and then re block the parking when gone (and they don't seem to actually be even working on the property for the past week or more). they have also completely blocked the road several times (with the truck), and cone placement often means it is impossible to pull out if/in to Rehua lane. this prevents parking for residences, and reduces the already very narrow road to less than a lane. no traffic management has been evident, and when asked about the work vehicles/truck last week was told "where else are we.meant to park" and to f off.
