Litter
Reported Sunday, 5 April 2026 at 9:18 pm, Coastal Pathway Beachville Rd, Redcliffs, Canterbury 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Daily fishing line off cuts - sometimes hooks & anchors , tangled lines, discarded & left to ultimately add to further endanger sea life. Also a dead shag - suspect it had been hooked. Certainly plenty of blood stains on Pathway as hooked fish are landed there in preference to rocks - not pleasant for the plenty of young families & elderly wanting to just enjoying the Pathway
