A huge Blackwood and a Black Walnut tree need a good hard trim please. We with the council planted a gorgeous Star Magnolia but unfortunately us struggling as these trees are zapping out all the sunlight from it. Our friends who gave us this magnolia when my mother in law died were very disappointed with its condition recently when they visited from Auckland. The Blackwood is really encroaching on our boundary and the Black Walnut drops a lot of mess including horrible looking fruit everywhere.
