Hazard, vehicle
Reported Tuesday, 21 April 2026 at 5:26 pm, 42A Antigua Street, Addington, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
There are four car parks located here that block peak evening traffic from passing through the intersection with SH76 to Strickland St. Because there is a high right turn demand into SH76, that queue is often long. When there are cars parked here after 4:30pm, southbound cars cannot fit between the queued right turn cars and parked cars. So very often in the evening, less cars pass through each signal phase than should do. adding to the queue on Antigua. please stop people parking here 4:30-6pm!
