The reporter’s words
Truck was parked straddling cycle lanes and yellow lines. When I came along there were several workers on the footpath with large temporary fences blocking this, a line of traffic was heading up Strickland St from the Milton St lights. I had no choice but to stop, so I took a photo. You can see in the photo cars were having to cross the center line (in a very narrow street) to avoid the truck. He had just completed loading a digger onto the truck so had to have been here for 30-60mins or longer. this was at 6:45am this morning.
