The reporter’s words
We have an urgent concern regarding the waterfront erosion in the Council controlled area beside the Tram Stop on Main Road. Please note that the waterfront between Ferrymead Bridge and Scarborough has been upgraded for future protection against coastal erosion. Howeverthe Council owned waterfront area between 165 and 161 remains vulnerable and is rapidly eroding (see photos). We realise this has been addressed before, but feel there is an urgent need to revisit this ongoing issue. Thank you.
