The reporter’s words
A large tree has become overgrown and is covering the street lamp nearly completely. It’s creating a very dark stretch along the footpath where a bus stops to let people off. It is also near an intersection. It is quite unsafe with the section of footpath not being lit, especially during the winter months when it gets dark earlier and there’s still a number of people using the sidewalk creating a safety issue.
