The reporter’s words
Chaotic and dangerous pedestrian footpath blockage by a construction company. At one end there is a sign up saying footpath is closed, but it is about 200m away from the construction site and includes a street where pedestrians can turn onto the footpath without awareness. At the other end there is no notice, just haphazardly placed road cones. They should not need to do this, and it’s forcing pedestrians onto the road if they are not aware.
