The reporter’s words
Whilst driving south on Cranford Street near the intersection with McFaddens Road I noticed a mother and child in the central island of the pedestrian crossing. They were waiting to cross to the west (Placemakers side). As the green 'man' came on they started to cross when a car turned north from McFaddens and drove through the red. Fortunately the mother grabbed the child's arm to stop them in time. You may have this on camera.
