Accessibility
Reported Wednesday, 27 May 2026 at 8:43 pm, 27–33 Chalmers St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Residents recently raised complaints at the GHRA about bus drivers not raising/lowering the buses or flipping the flap for wheelchairs - but why could we not simply have the step raised up here a little bit? Similar to some of the new bus stops on Halswell road. This would improve bus accessibility at one of the most popular stops.
