Trees - General
Reported Friday, 5 June 2026 at 1:53 pm, 35 Old West Coast Rd, Canterbury, Christchurch 7676, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
TUTU. this is a very toxic plant. It is currently producing black berries at YALDHURST Bush. This could potentially poison roaming dogs. I’ve tried pulling some of it out, but there is too much of it spread over a large area for me to be effective Could there be sign posted on the entrance to make people aware that the berries are toxic to humans and dogs?
