Road Signage
Reported Tuesday, 16 June 2026 at 11:24 am, Dallington Bridge, Dallington Canterbury 8061, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Biking over dallington bridge i’ve seen many people confused about how to bike or walk to it from the McBratney direction. They miss the sign for the little turn off, continuing straight ahead, going up the bark slope to meet the pathway. For cyclists crossing the bridge the people pop up from nowhere. A child could get badly injured colliding with an ebike going fast over bridge. Planting to hide the slope is needed plus a big arrow sign on the old roadway itself to visually block that option
