The reporter’s words
Hi there, I sent an enquiry months back regarding adding a street light into the Lovelock Street alley-way. At night this alley is pitch black and my mother has to use this to walk to public transport. Main concern is she is in her 60's and there are gangs who have now moved into the area. Without any lighting this is not a safe area and I fear she will be mugged or worse... This is a very important safety issue and I'm disappointed no one got back to me on this. Can you please use some of the lights used for the temporary walkway leading over the gayhurst bridge for the Lovelock Street alley?
