The reporter’s words
There is a new very yellow light now installed on Carlyle St in Sydenham. I drove north on Colombo last Thursday morning, 25/6, and noticed it for the first time. Whilst it was bright it was ok in the morning light. However I drove the same route that evening in the dark and that same yellow light was quite blinding and very very distracting. It needs moved. I suggest whoever approved its installation drive past it in the dark and check its impact. Not great.
