Pavement - General
Reported Sunday, 12 July 2026 at 11:53 am, Property Access, Canterbury, Christchurch 8083, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
I noticed the other day walking past the Mcdonald's on Marshlands Road toward Prestons Road that the footpath just completely stops and does not connect to the rest of the path. The section of dirt that splits the path seems to be reasonably trodden down, so I assume there is a reasonable amount of foot traffic that goes through there. I can imagine that if there was a blind person walking along here, they would probably be quite confused and it could potentially be dangerous.
