Trees - General
Reported Friday, 17 July 2026 at 4:08 pm, 4–10 Winslow St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
We request the three large oak trees be pruned back to our property boundary and maintained at a smaller size. Their large leaves quickly block our gutters, causing overflow and indoor flooding. We operate a denture clinic serving mainly elderly patients, and the wet leaves create a serious slip hazard. Winter is the safest and healthiest time to prune. Previous leaf collection has not resolved the ongoing problem, and a long-term solution is needed.
