The reporter’s words

This section connects to the major cycleway, yet to get to the playground and/or pioneer pool/sports complex you need to ride through the grass. There is a clear desire line here and while at the playground with my daughter we saw two other bikes go past through the grass. It’s clearly a popular way to go. The pavement would also need to be widened alongside the playground. It would also be great to see a connection on the other side see photo three. For anyone heading from south Christchurch
