Reported Wednesday, 22 July 2026 at 9:30 am, 33 Sandy Beach Rd, Canterbury, Lyttelton 8971, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The trees in the photo are on council land and all are in need of attention: Photo 1: tree on road verge is dying (lacebark) Photo 2: lacebark trunk that is dead and needs felling to remove risk Photo 3: lacebark tree (large) that is dead. Please note that a walking track is right below this dead tree Photo 4: oak tree that overhangs the road could do with the dead wood being removed to reduce risk. Tree is beautiful, just needs some arborist care.
