Roads - General
Reported Wednesday, 22 July 2026 at 4:17 pm, 30 Dover St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8014, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
We’ve been having trouble with worker’s vans, trucks and trailers parking on both sides of the road and very close to our driveway making it near impossible to get in/out of our driveway safely. There was one day last week gap was so narrow that it was hard to get through, it would’ve been impossible for emergency vehicles or rubbish trucks to get through the space left. I have asked the workers and the site manager nicely to park on one side only but the problem persists. We need yellow lines!
