Trees - General
Reported Thursday, 30 July 2026 at 12:31 pm, 4–10 Winslow St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
We previously requested the three large oak trees be pruned back to our boundary, but only three branches (see photo) were removed, which does not resolve the issue. The leaves block our gutters, causing overflow, indoor flooding, loss of sunlight, and a slip hazard for our mainly elderly patients. Winter is the best time to prune. If the trees cannot be reduced in size, we request they be removed and replanted, as was done with our neighbour's tree. It’s been a major problem to us many years.Tx
