Roads - General
Reported Wednesday, 5 August 2026 at 5:17 pm, 2 Coronation St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Yellow no parking lines on Coronation Street appear to be to close to the corner. A car coming around the corner from Barrington Street could hit a car parked on Coronation Street, where the yellow lines end. Coronation Street is narrow enough that when vehicles are parked on the left side (as you look down it toward Barrington Street, that traffic going in that direction often crosses the centre line. Together with the first issue, this appears to present a risk of an accident.
