The reporter’s words

Already reported this hazard and no action taken. I ran into the chain on my bike which had excellent lights. The chain has no reflectors. There are no directional arrows for walkers or bikers. The surface is continuous and the chain is not visible in the dark, even with lights. I injured myself in August and am still on light duties and in severe pain after breaking my arm and injuring my shoulder. This is a preventable accident that will happen again, only the next time someone may break their neck. The chain is a hazard which can be eliminated . I am a rate payer and perhaps I will stop paying my rates. I am out considerably financially because of this and am asking that this problem be fixed immediately and am considering seeking reembersment from the council for this negligence. I work in traffic management and would never leave a hazard like this for members of the public. Happy to go to the site and fully explain the situation.
