Hazard, vehicle
Reported Thursday, 27 August 2026 at 5:02 pm, 103 Elizabeth St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8041, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This vehicle has been parked in this position since recent road closures narrowed the street. The rear of the van is parked directly over the sloped drop-down curb of my driveway entrance. While it does not completely block the path, its size and position create a critical blind spot. It is incredibly dangerous to see oncoming traffic when reversing or driving out from my garage. I request that a parking compliance officer look into this as a matter of safety.
