The reporter’s words
I use this pedestrian walkway regularly but noticed that over the last 2-3 years, some of the hedging between the private homes and the walkway has never been trimmed. It's now quite difficult to walk and more so for young Mums pushing a baby stroller because the overgrown hedges cover more than 50% of the walkway in many spots. Not sure if this is under the purview of the council or private home owners although I do see council contractors pruning trees and grass along Northwood Boulevard.
