The reporter’s words
I want to alert you to a future fire risk of long grass on Hodgens Road. It is between 97 Hodgens Road and fountains road. The owner of the land lives just around the corner on fountains and whincops Road but unfortunately is not inclined to mow down Hodgens Road. Some of the grass is waist height and will only get higher and dryer from now on. The only way the grass was mowed last summer was by me complaining to the council because of the fire risk.
