Litter
Reported Wednesday, 2 September 2026 at 2:33 pm, Comer St, Canterbury, Christchurch 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
At a house building site where polystyrene was laid on foundations, Monday’s wind must have dislodged and broke blocks of polystyrene, which flew over fencing and was strewn across multiple properties. 2 days later (ie today) broken polystyrene is still scattered over the neighbouring properties. The building company does not appeared to have attempted to clean it up. Surely keeping their rubbish on their site is a requirement.
