The reporter’s words
I know nothing can be done on-line regarding the parking shown in the photo, but I have previously requested no stopping lines be installed adjacent to the pedestrian islands on Kerr’s Road between Wainoni Road and Woodham Road. That request was dismissed, so now I have photographic proof that further investigation is required. Not only are the cars parked across a kerb cut down, but when they are not they severely reduce the road width for safe cycling. As previously requested, I would like to see no stopping lines installed for 6m either side of the pedestrian islands on approach and departure and on both sides of the road.
