The reporter’s words
At 11.47 am on 4 September 2026, an uncontrolled Golden Retriever rushed out of 47 Mills Road towards me, barking aggressively. I feared it was about to attack me and am still shaken. Another woman witnessed this and crossed the road to avoid the dog. It then crossed the road, approached her aggressively and frightened her. I am recovering from knee surgery and could not move away quickly. This poses a serious risk to children, older people and other pedestrians. Photo attached.
