The reporter’s words
Dead branch balancing up in a pine tree. In a rough wind it may fall onto the footpath or on to the road. Hard to see but I think it’s broken away from the trunk. Neighbours tell me the tree sits on a council strip. Also a good opportunity to trim branches back from the street light.
