Trees - General
Reported Friday, 18 September 2026 at 10:27 am, 10 Raxworthy Street, Ilam, Christchurch 8041, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The large council tree outside our property is getting too big and lifting up the concrete. we are about to get a new pavement there and maybe it was a good time to get rid of it and then fix the hill it has created properly or it will just break the footpath again. Also the concrete in our property has broken and we have already replaced one side and now the other has lifted up with large roots underneath. could someone please come look at it for us from the council
