Roading/Streets
Reported Sunday, 1 December 2019 at 9:26 pm, Linden Grove Avenue, Middleton, 8024, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Corner of linden grove ave and Sylvan street, asphalt intersection has been chipsealed over. This has caused major bleeding and stripping of chip seal causing loose material. This is very dangerous on an intersection. This is the completely wrong seal design for this intersection. There is no reason why asphalt should be replaced with chip seal. This is dangerous and myself along with neighbors I have spoken with want this replaced back to how it was. I have also sent this into the press and a number of other places to show the lack of thought going into the roaring designs in this city. Since this is a major safety issues I expect some action within a week.
