Pavement - General
Reported Wednesday, 30 September 2026 at 2:09 pm, 78–90 Esplanade, Canterbury, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
There is a new surf school set up on the esplanade. There are already 2 surf schools. Under your bylaw another one is not permitted. Inside they don’t have a licence so what are their liability insurance obligations in the event of an accident if they are unlicensed?
