Damaged Street Sign
Reported Tuesday, 13 October 2026 at 10:53 am, 179 Waimairi Rd, Canterbury, Christchurch 8041, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Working for independent line services we are a contracted company for Orion. We have come to change the pole that a road sign was attached to. One of the signposts was broken and rotten at ground level. The second post was attached to the old hardwood pole and the street sign was attached to both. Sign is too big to go back on new pole and the second post to damage to reuse. The sign and post is too big to be left on the side of road so will take back to independent line services yard.
