Park - General Request
Reported Friday, 16 October 2026 at 7:20 pm, Canterbury, Christchurch 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The council mower today vandalised the wildflower garden by cutting a swathe straight down the middle and doing donuts right in the middle. This beautiful patch of wildflowers has been attracting visitors to the reserve as well as being the centre of attention for groups of photographers. The beauty that has taken so long to establish was destroyed in a few minutes.
