The reporter’s words
The cricket batting cages have areas where the chain link fencing no longer reaches the end post. In these areas (on all 3) it is open apart from a few support wires at different heights. These wires are hard to see and led injuries for both my sons. My older son said he tried to run through the gap, but the bottom wire caught him on the throat, causing him to fall backwards to the ground. While my older son was telling me what happened my younger son then did the same thing - the wire caught him on the forehead and he fell backwards hitting his head on the concrete. The wires either need to be made way more visible, or the chain link fencing continued to the end posts.
