The reporter’s words

There is little to no signage showing the fence at Linfield Park is electric, and a three-year-old has been stung as a result. The only signs are one or two very small "Electric Fence" signs, roughly 300 to 400 metres apart. Tamai Sports uses the park heavily for programmes with young tamariki, and our touch rugby sessions bring many families with small children. We manage this closely, but bigger, more frequent signs are needed, especially with large events on this weekend.
