Trees - General
Reported Thursday, 22 October 2026 at 2:07 pm, 18 The Terrace, Canterbury, Governors Bay 8971, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Hi there, - I spoke with one of the council staff members spraying on Faulkner Track at its start on The Terrace in Governors Bay about the large dead tree on public land next to the track. It’s been dead for quite some time and we feel it would be a health hazard if it came down in strong winds. As it’s quite high it’s also like to either cause damage to property or cars parked or driving past. Hoping someone would kindly come and cut it down. Many thanks, Ole Hansen, 19 The Terrace, GB.
